Post-Publication Discussion Policy
Jurnal Rekayasa Infrastruktur (JRI) recognizes that conflicts of interest may influence, or be perceived to influence, the preparation, evaluation, and publication of scholarly work. The journal requires authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose relevant conflicts of interest to support transparency and impartial editorial decisions.
Authors
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their research, interpretation of results, or manuscript preparation. Relevant funding sources and the role of sponsors in the research should also be disclosed, where applicable.
If no relevant conflict of interest exists, authors should provide an appropriate declaration stating that they have no conflict of interest to disclose.
Reviewers
Reviewers must inform the editorial team of any actual or potential conflict of interest that could affect their ability to evaluate a manuscript objectively. Reviewers should decline a review assignment when such a conflict prevents impartial assessment.
Editors
Editors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and refrain from handling manuscripts when their relationships or interests could compromise, or reasonably appear to compromise, their impartiality. In such cases, the manuscript should be assigned to another qualified editor.
Management of Conflicts of Interest
The editorial team will assess disclosed conflicts and determine appropriate measures to protect the integrity of the editorial process. These measures may include reassignment of editorial responsibilities, appointment of alternative reviewers, or publication of a conflict-of-interest statement when appropriate.
JRI is committed to managing conflicts of interest transparently and consistently to maintain trust in its editorial decisions and published research.
